A wooden gate works hard: sun, rain, and being opened several times a day. We size the posts and the frame for the leaf, choose a species that holds up outdoors, and prepare it for a motor if you plan one.

What is included

  • Survey of the entrance: width, slope, pillars
  • Design matching the fence and the house
  • Manufacture in naturally durable or treated wood, use class 3 or 4
  • Posts, hinges, stop and lock

Some towns require a prior declaration for a fence or a gate, and the local plan often sets a maximum height: we check with the town hall before manufacture.
