Heard on the doorstep

"Our neighbours stop to look at the door. It is the same design as the old one, but it no longer lets the wind in."
Sophie G., panelled oak door
"Fitted in the morning, keys in my hand at five. The lock turns without forcing, which had not happened in years."
Patrick V., insulated front door
"In a protected area, they prepared the drawings for the declaration. The green we chose was accepted."
Élodie T., double door and shutters

Choose your door with us

Tell us what you have in mind and, if you know them, the width and height of the doorway. We come to measure and bring catalogues of models, finishes and hardware.

Arched carriage door

Front doors, made and fitted

Every house begins at its door.

Panelled, glazed, double or arched, in oak, painted or aluminium: we draw it for your doorway, make it, fit it with its lock and hand you the keys the same evening.

Doors of the town

The hardware

A door is also its lock, its hinges and its threshold

What you touch every day matters as much as the wood. We choose it with you, fit it square, and adjust it so the door still closes smoothly ten winters from now.

  • Multi-point lock and cylinder, keys on the day
  • Adjustable hinges, set again after fitting
  • A watertight threshold and insulation all round
  • Handle, knocker or letter plate, to your taste

Four materials for doors and windows

A period door is often best in wood. The rest of the house can follow, or not: here is what each material brings.

Wood

Period houses, protected areas, mouldings and panels that can be repaired for generations.

A coat of finish every few years

PVC

A tight budget and good insulation, with nothing to maintain.

Wider frames, a little less glass

Aluminium

Contemporary doors and large bay windows with slim frames.

Always with a thermal break

Wood-aluminium

Wood on the hall side, aluminium facing the weather.

The highest price of the four

What the tax office and the town hall ask

Rules in force in 2026, checked for your house and written on the quote.

VAT at 5.5% or 10%

An insulating entrance door, like windows and insulating shutters, can be invoiced at 5.5% when it reaches the required performance, in a home completed more than two years ago. Most other improvement work is at 10%.

MaPrimeRénov'

Since 1 September 2026 it no longer funds windows on their own. They remain eligible within a whole-house renovation carried out by RGE-certified businesses.

CEE premium

Still possible when new windows replace single glazing and are fitted by an RGE business, provided it is requested before the quote is signed.

Town hall

A door of a different colour or style changes the facade: a prior declaration comes first. One month to reply, two in a protected area, where the Architecte des Bâtiments de France gives an opinion.

Guarantees

One year of completion guarantee after handover, two years of proper operation on the lock, hinges and motors, ten-year insurance on the work itself.
