A bay window changes the way a room is lived in. It also puts a lot of glass, and a lot of weight, on a single opening: sizing the frame, the glazing and the lintel is what decides whether it still slides smoothly in ten years.

What is included

  • Site survey: opening, lintel, sill and floor level
  • Choice of profile, glazing and number of sliding leaves
  • Removal of the existing window or door
  • Fitting, insulation and a watertight sill
  • Lock and adjustment of the rollers

Good to know

Widening an opening is structural work: if your project needs a bigger hole in the wall, we coordinate with the mason and the lintel is checked before anything is ordered. Creating or enlarging an opening on the facade requires a prior declaration.

Choose aluminium with a thermal break: without it the frame becomes a cold bridge and condensation appears in winter.
